This time last year I was busy studying yoga and Ayurvedic medicine in Nepal. I had already spent a month in India and another month in Thailand and my skin was a little out of condition. I’d overdone the sunshine and spent a lot of time swimming so it was dry and needed some attention.
My guru and practitioner recommended a simple face mask with three key ingredients. Yogurt to condition my skin, honey to calm and moisturise and then turmeric to tone down any freckles and sun damage.
Use one tablespoon of plain yogurt, one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of turmeric and mix. Apply to your face, avoiding your eyes, and sit back and relax. This is a very soothing mix so sit back for twenty minutes and let it soak in. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry. Eh voila, smooth soft and glowing skin.
